The average export price for statuettes and other ornamental ceramic articleses stood at $5,301 per ton in December 2023, growing by 11% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, recorded a noticeable shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2023 when the average export price increased by 18% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $7,245 per ton in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to December 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Malaysia ($12,918 per ton), while the average price for exports to Poland ($3,225 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From December 2022 to December 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Malaysia (+1.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

The import price peaked at $15,616 per ton in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
