In 2022, the average import price for spices; cinnamon (cinnamomum zeylanicum blume), neither crushed nor ground amounted to $3,591 per ton, shrinking by -28.9% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, posted a significant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when the average import price increased by 1,471% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $7,857 per ton. From 2015 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
