In August 2023, the average rubber tube and pipe import price amounted to $9,104 per ton, growing by 12% against the previous month. Over the period from August 2022 to August 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.2%. As a result, import price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Japan ($17,425 per ton), while the price for Malaysia ($4,919 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+2.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In general, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern.
