In November 2023, the average import price for photographic paper, paperboard and textiles; sensitised, unexposeds amounted to $1.8 per square meter, with a decrease of -4.4% against the previous month. In general, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in July 2023 when the average import price increased by 37% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $3.1 per square meter in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to November 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($2.0 per square meter), while the price for Germany amounted to $1.3 per square meter.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Netherlands (+0.3%).

The average export price for photographic paper, paperboard and textiles; sensitised, unexposeds stood at $5.3 per square meter in November 2023, remaining stable against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, posted buoyant growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in March 2023 an increase of 98% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $7.7 per square meter in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to November 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Germany ($20.1 per square meter), while the average price for exports to Belarus ($2.9 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (+7.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imports of Photographic Paper, Paperboard and Textiles; Sensitised, Unexposed in Poland
For the third year in a row, Poland recorded decline in supplies from abroad of photographic paper, paperboard and textiles; sensitised, unexposeds, which decreased by -6.9% to 6.4M square meters in 2022. In general, imports faced a deep setback. The smallest decline of -2.4% was in 2021. Over the period under review, imports of reached the maximum at 9.9M square meters in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, imports of photographic paper, paperboard and textiles; sensitised, unexposeds contracted to $14M in 2022. Overall, imports recorded a noticeable curtailment. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when imports increased by 5.1%. Over the period under review, imports of hit record highs at $15M in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2022, overseas shipments of photographic paper, paperboard and textiles; sensitised, unexposeds were finally on the rise to reach 625K square meters for the first time since 2019, thus ending a two-year declining trend. Over the period under review, exports, however, continue to indicate a deep slump. The exports peaked at 1M square meters in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, exports of photographic paper, paperboard and textiles; sensitised, unexposeds rose notably to $2.4M in 2022. In general, exports, however, showed a deep reduction. Over the period under review, the exports of hit record highs at $3.2M in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.
