Price for Perchlorates; Bromates and Perbromates; Iodates and Periodates in China (FOB) - 2023
In December 2023, the average export price for perchlorates; bromates and perbromates; iodates and periodateses amounted to $2,894 per ton, declining by -8.8% against the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in April 2023 an increase of 64% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $4,782 per ton in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to December 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was South Africa ($4,959 per ton), while the average price for exports to Djibouti ($1,476 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2022 to December 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Mexico (+3.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, the import price saw slight growth. As a result, import price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
