Price for Non-Woven Glass Fibre Articles in Lithuania (CIF) - 2022
The average non-woven glass fibre articles import price stood at $1,737 per ton in December 2021, growing by 4.4% against the previous month. In general, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2021 an increase of 8.9% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $1,820 per ton in September 2021; however, from October 2021 to December 2021, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In December 2021, the country with the highest price was Sweden ($4,580 per ton), while the price for Finland ($1,386 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From January 2021 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Thailand (+1.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Price for Non-Woven Glass Fibre Articles in Lithuania (FOB) - 2022
In December 2021, the average non-woven glass fibre articles export price amounted to $1,639 per ton, falling by -1.7% against the previous month. In general, the export price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in August 2021 an increase of 8.4% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $1,728 per ton in April 2021; however, from May 2021 to December 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In December 2021, the country with the highest price was Ireland ($2,253 per ton), while the average price for exports to Estonia ($858 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From January 2021 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Latvia (+3.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imports of Non-Woven Glass Fibre Articles in Lithuania
In 2022, non-woven glass fibre articles imports into Lithuania fell to 12K tons, waning by -13.4% against the previous year's figure. In general, imports showed a perceptible contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when imports increased by 31%. As a result, imports reached the peak of 13K tons, and then fell in the following year.
