The average export price for mushrooms and truffles, other than of the genus "agaricus" stood at $2,890 per ton in December 2023, growing by 13% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in July 2023 an increase of 19% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $3,669 per ton in October 2023; however, from November 2023 to December 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the United States ($3,433 per ton), while the average price for exports to the UK totaled $1,934 per ton.

From December 2022 to December 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the UK (+1.1%).
