The import price peaked at $12,042 per ton in July 2023; afterwards, it flattened through to October 2023.

Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In October 2023, the country with the highest price was Australia ($13,642 per ton), while the price for Chile ($11,039 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Ireland (+1.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Switzerland (+3.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
