Price for Meat of Bovine Animals; Frozen in Ukraine (FOB) - 2023

The average export price for meat of bovine animals; frozen stood at $4,104 per ton in July 2023, with an increase of 3% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, recorded a slight decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 when the average export price increased by 4.4% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $4,758 per ton in July 2022; however, from August 2022 to July 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was Moldova ($4,878 per ton), while the average price for exports to Uzbekistan ($2,893 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Moldova (+4.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
