In February 2023, the average export price for meat of bovine animals; frozen amounted to $3,683 per ton, with an increase of 24% against the previous month. In general, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $3,692 per ton in August 2022; afterwards, it flattened through to February 2023.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major external markets. In February 2023, the country with the highest price was Saudi Arabia ($4,033 per ton), while the average price for exports to Uzbekistan ($3,568 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From February 2022 to February 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Uzbekistan (+3.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
