In November 2023, the average export price for lubricating preparations not for the treatment of materials amounted to $4,813 per ton, with an increase of 6% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in September 2023 an increase of 8.5% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $5,494 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to November 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the United States ($10,802 per ton), while the average price for exports to India ($3,499 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Taiwan (Chinese) (+1.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
