In November 2023, the average export price for furniture; wooden, other than for office, kitchen or bedroom use amounted to $50.9 per unit, surging by 4.3% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The export price peaked at $53.8 per unit in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to November 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Denmark ($73.7 per unit), while the average price for exports to Canada ($39.9 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (+1.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
