Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a slight shrinkage. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in October 2023 an increase of 60% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $2,853 per ton in February 2023; however, from March 2023 to December 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was China ($1,721 per ton), while the price for Vietnam amounted to $755 per ton.
