In November 2023, the average import price for furniture; of cane, osier, or similar materials (other than bamboo or rattan) amounted to $4,263 per ton, with an increase of 5.2% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, recorded a mild decrease. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in February 2023 an increase of 84% m-o-m. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $7,300 per ton. From March 2023 to November 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Italy ($26,374 per ton), while the price for Taiwan (Chinese) ($2,101 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Taiwan (Chinese) (+2.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
