The average export price for frozen carcasses and half-carcasses of bovine meat stood at $3,961 per ton in 2022, dropping by -5.6% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when the average export price increased by 45%. The export price peaked at $4,194 per ton in 2021, and then reduced in the following year.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United Arab Emirates ($5,504 per ton), while the average price for exports to Qatar stood at $3,735 per ton.

From 2015 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Oman (+18.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
