Overall, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in September 2023 an increase of 9% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $5,627 per ton in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to October 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In October 2023, the country with the highest price was Italy ($7,614 per ton), while the average price for exports to Lithuania ($3,110 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Italy (+1.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
