Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $712 per thousand units in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to July 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Taiwan (Chinese) ($1.3 per unit), while the price for the Czech Republic ($97.0 per thousand units) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Taiwan (Chinese) (+9.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.4%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in April 2023 an increase of 22% m-o-m. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $0.1 per unit. From May 2023 to July 2023, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Singapore ($375 per thousand units), while the average price for exports to Malaysia ($30.0 per thousand units) was amongst the lowest.
