The export price peaked at $7,334 per ton in October 2023; however, from November 2023 to January 2024, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In January 2024, the country with the highest price was Myanmar ($9,969 per ton), while the average price for exports to Vietnam ($4,525 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From January 2023 to January 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Vietnam (-1.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
