Price for Chocolate Bar with Filling in Hungary (FOB) - 2023
In June 2023, the average chocolate bar with filling export price amounted to $5,890 per ton, stabilizing at the previous month. Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.2%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 an increase of 14% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $6,027 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to June 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Serbia ($7,817 per ton), while the average price for exports to Turkey ($4,739 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the UK (+6.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average chocolate bar with filling import price stood at $4,582 per ton in June 2023, reducing by -5.5% against the previous month. Overall, import price indicated a mild expansion from June 2022 to June 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +1.8% over the last twelve months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on June 2023 figures, chocolate bar with filling import price decreased by -31.9% against March 2023 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2023 when the average import price increased by 57% m-o-m. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $6,725 per ton. From April 2023 to June 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Germany ($7,721 per ton), while the price for Poland ($3,390 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Bulgaria (+3.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Exports of Chocolate Bar with Filling in Hungary
