In July 2023, the average export price for cereals; grain sorghum, other than seeds amounted to $386 per ton, reducing by -6.9% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2023 an increase of 6% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $415 per ton in June 2023, and then reduced in the following month.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Germany.
From October 2022 to July 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for the Netherlands amounted to +2.0% per month.
