Poultry Price in Canada (CIF) - 2022

In 2022, the average poultry import price amounted to $3,132 per ton, rising by 45% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.5%. As a result, import price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($3,146 per ton), while the price for Brazil stood at $3,050 per ton.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United States (+1.8%).

Poultry Price in Canada (FOB) - 2022

In 2022, the average poultry export price amounted to $2,302 per ton, growing by 24% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.4%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($4,195 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Philippines ($881 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Hong Kong SAR (+11.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Poultry Imports in Canada

As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
