Personal Anti-Perspirants Price in Luxembourg (CIF) - 2023

In June 2023, the average personal anti-perspirants import price amounted to $16,671 per ton, falling by -36.2% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, enjoyed resilient growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 an increase of 1,060% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $26,146 per ton in May 2023, and then reduced markedly in the following month.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Brazil ($27,845 per ton), while the price for the United States stood at $11,350 per ton.

From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by France (+24.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Personal Anti-Perspirants Price in Luxembourg (FOB) - 2022

The average personal anti-perspirants export price stood at $3,694 per ton in 2022, declining by -10.7% against the previous year. In general, the export price showed a deep setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 an increase of 12% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $7,673 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was France ($8,934 per ton), while the average price for exports to Germany ($3,353 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

Personal Anti-Perspirants Imports in Luxembourg

In 2022, purchases abroad of personal deodorants and anti-perspirants decreased by -12.1% to 3.4K tons for the first time since 2018, thus ending a three-year rising trend. Over the period under review, imports, however, posted a significant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 115% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of 3.9K tons, and then dropped in the following year.

In value terms, personal anti-perspirants imports shrank rapidly to $9.1M in 2022. In general, total imports indicated resilient growth from 2019 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +8.3% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +27.1% against 2019 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 52%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $11M, and then contracted notably in the following year.
