The average non-propelled vehicle import price stood at $56 per unit in 2022, increasing by 3.6% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.0%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 an increase of 28%. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $65 per unit in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($208 per unit), while the price for China ($50 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+5.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average non-propelled vehicle export price stood at $118 per unit in 2022, approximately mirroring the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, recorded buoyant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 an increase of 40% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $118 per unit in 2021, and then declined modestly in the following year.
