Non-Lawn Mower Price in China (FOB) - 2022

In 2022, the average non-lawn mower export price amounted to $208 per unit, which is down by -12.1% against the previous year. In general, the export price saw a abrupt shrinkage. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 20% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $506 per unit in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Italy ($914 per unit), while the average price for exports to Slovenia ($57 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Italy (+7.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

Non-Lawn Mower Price in China (CIF) - 2022

The average non-lawn mower import price stood at $1,203 per unit in 2022, declining by -2.6% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, saw a resilient expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 65%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $1,236 per unit, and then reduced slightly in the following year.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($2,604 per unit), while the price for Japan ($210 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United States (+18.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Non-Lawn Mower Exports in China

In 2022, overseas shipments of non-lawn mowers and cutter bars decreased by -4.7% to 329K units for the first time since 2018, thus ending a three-year rising trend. Overall, total exports indicated significant growth from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +23.0% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by +86.2% against 2019 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when exports increased by 51%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at 345K units in 2021, and then fell modestly in the following year.

In value terms, non-lawn mower exports fell markedly to $68M in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, continue to indicate significant growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 55%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $82M, and then fell rapidly in the following year.

In 2022, purchases abroad of non-lawn mowers and cutter bars decreased by -34.7% to 6.9K units, falling for the second year in a row after two years of growth. Overall, imports saw a abrupt shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 19% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of 13K units. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, non-lawn mower imports contracted remarkably to $8.3M in 2022. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a strong increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 88%. Imports peaked at $13M in 2021, and then declined dramatically in the following year.
