Non-Enclosed Loudspeakers Price in the Netherlands (FOB) - 2022

In 2022, the average non-enclosed loudspeakers export price amounted to $16 per unit, falling by -4.3% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price showed a perceptible curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 an increase of 18% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $23 per unit in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Slovakia ($56 per unit), while the average price for exports to the UK ($8.5 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Spain (+8.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In June 2023, the average non-enclosed loudspeakers import price amounted to $1.3 per unit, falling by -22.8% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in July 2022 when the average import price increased by 47% m-o-m. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $1.8 per unit. From August 2022 to June 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Hungary ($1.7 per unit), while the price for Germany ($371 per thousand units) was amongst the lowest.

From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+9.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Non-enclosed loudspeakers exports from the Netherlands rose significantly to 4.2M units in 2022, picking up by 5.3% against the previous year. In general, exports enjoyed significant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 78%. The exports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

In value terms, non-enclosed loudspeakers exports stood at $68M in 2022. Over the period under review, exports posted significant growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 107%. The exports peaked in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.
