Television Receiver Price in the Netherlands (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average television receiver import price amounted to $119 per unit, shrinking by -13.1% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price saw a perceptible descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 an increase of 15%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $176 per unit. From 2014 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Hungary ($558 per unit), while the price for Vietnam ($39 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Mexico (+30.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average television receiver export price amounted to $132 per unit, stabilizing at the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a perceptible curtailment. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 an increase of 15%. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $171 per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Ireland ($298 per unit), while the average price for exports to Italy ($34 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Ireland (+6.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Television Receiver Imports in the Netherlands
After three years of growth, purchases abroad of television receivers decreased by -31.4% to 9M units in 2022. Overall, total imports indicated a pronounced increase from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +3.7% over the last three-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when imports increased by 36%. Imports peaked at $1.8B in 2021, and then reduced rapidly in the following year.
