Needles, Catheters, Cannulae Price in Thailand (FOB) - 2023
In July 2023, the average needles, catheters, cannulae export price amounted to $103 per thousand units, which is down by -5.2% against the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in June 2023 an increase of 23% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $109 per thousand units in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to July 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was China ($124 per thousand units), while the average price for exports to Japan ($52.0 per thousand units) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to India (+3.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average needles, catheters, cannulae import price stood at $0.2 per unit in 2022, waning by -4.5% against the previous year. Overall, the import price saw a slight downturn. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 when the average import price increased by 17% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $0.3 per unit in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($1.8 per unit), while the price for Malaysia (less than $0.1 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Japan (+19.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
