In September 2023, the average mustard seed import price amounted to $2,019 per ton, rising by 9.8% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a perceptible shrinkage. The growth pace was the most rapid in February 2023 an increase of 59% m-o-m. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $4,300 per ton. From March 2023 to September 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
