Mower Price in Turkey (CIF) - 2022

The average mower import price stood at $391 per unit in 2022, picking up by 11% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 an increase of 13% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $447 per unit. From 2015 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the UK ($1,600 per unit), while the price for Hungary ($260 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the UK (+11.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Mower Price in Turkey (FOB) - 2022

The average mower export price stood at $171 per unit in 2022, growing by 9.6% against the previous year. In general, the export price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when the average export price increased by 13% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $176 per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Uzbekistan ($197 per unit), while the average price for exports to Georgia ($116 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Romania (+3.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Mower Imports in Turkey

In 2022, after three years of growth, there was significant decline in overseas purchases of mowers, when their volume decreased by -18.8% to 36K units. Over the period under review, total imports indicated prominent growth from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +13.8% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 50% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at 45K units in 2021, and then declined remarkably in the following year.

In value terms, mower imports declined to $14M in 2022. In general, total imports indicated a remarkable increase from 2019 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +17.2% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +60.9% against 2019 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 34% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $16M, and then reduced in the following year.

Mower Exports in Turkey

In 2022, after three years of growth, there was decline in overseas shipments of mowers, when their volume decreased by -3.6% to 95K units. Over the period under review, total exports indicated a prominent expansion from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +13.2% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by +45.2% against 2019 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 40%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of 99K units, and then shrank slightly in the following year.

In value terms, mower exports expanded rapidly to $16M in 2022. Overall, total exports indicated resilient growth from 2019 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +17.1% over the last three-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by +67.5% against 2020 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 58%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.
