Mower Price in Australia (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average mower import price amounted to $485 per unit, which is down by -6.4% against the previous year. Overall, import price indicated tangible growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.3% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, mower import price increased by +68.7% against 2015 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when the average import price increased by 45% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $518 per unit in 2021, and then fell in the following year.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was China ($486 per unit), while the price for Canada ($479 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+7.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

In 2022, the average mower export price amounted to $705 per unit, increasing by 24% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.4%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the UK ($1,186 per unit), while the average price for exports to India ($492 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to China (+9.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

For the fourth year in a row, Australia recorded growth in purchases abroad of mowers, which increased by 43% to 1.3M units in 2022. Overall, imports continue to indicate a significant increase. Mower Exports in Australia
For the third consecutive year, Australia recorded decline in shipments abroad of mowers, which decreased by -1.2% to 6.8K units in 2022. Over the period under review, exports showed a deep slump.
