In 2022, the average motorcycle tire import price amounted to $13 per unit, with a decrease of -17.2% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, saw a moderate expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 an increase of 94% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $16 per unit in 2021, and then dropped sharply in the following year.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Uganda ($17 per unit), while the price for China ($12 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Uganda (+24.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

In general, exports continue to indicate a precipitous decrease. The smallest decline of -32.3% was in 2020. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at 254 units in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.
