In value terms, India ($113M) constitutes the largest market for imported methylamine, di- or trimethylamine and their salts worldwide, comprising 26% of global imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Taiwan (Chinese) ($39M), with an 8.8% share of global imports. It was followed by France, with a 6.5% share.

Export Prices By Country

In 2022, the average methylamine export price amounted to $1,801 per ton, picking up by 22% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a abrupt downturn. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 28%. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $4,205 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
