Liquefied Butanes Price in Nigeria (CIF) - 2022

The average liquefied butanes import price stood at $1,388 per ton in 2022, declining by -29.7% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded resilient growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 an increase of 71%. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $1,975 per ton in 2021, and then shrank notably in the following year.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($1,388 per ton), while the price for Niger totaled $242 per ton.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Argentina (+12.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
