The average import price for vegetables; olives, provisionally preserved but unsuitable in that state for immediate consumptia stood at $2,217 per ton in November 2023, dropping by -29.2% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, enjoyed a moderate expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in October 2023 an increase of 225% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $3,133 per ton, and then declined sharply in the following month.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Greece ($2,931 per ton), while the price for North Macedonia ($1,287 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Greece (+6.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
