LCDs and Plasmas Price in China (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average LCDs and plasmas export price amounted to $179 per unit, which is down by -4.1% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when the average export price increased by 26%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $245 per unit. From 2019 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($373 per unit), while the average price for exports to Vietnam ($33 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (+8.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
LCDs and Plasmas Price in China (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average LCDs and plasmas import price amounted to $582 per unit, surging by 61% against the previous year. Overall, import price indicated a moderate expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.6% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, LCDs and plasmas import price increased by +54.6% against 2019 indices. As a result, import price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($3,499 per unit), while the price for Vietnam ($230 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
