Inductor Price in Ghana (CIF) - 2022

The average inductor import price stood at $12 per unit in 2022, shrinking by -48% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, recorded a resilient increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 an increase of 3,851%. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $188 per unit in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the UK ($1.4 per unit), while the price for Poland (less than $0.1 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United Arab Emirates (+27.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Inductor Price in Ghana (FOB) - 2022

In 2022, the average inductor export price amounted to $107 per unit, with an increase of 9.7% against the previous year. Overall, the export price saw prominent growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 an increase of 30%. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $120 per unit in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($1,007 per unit), while the average price for exports to China ($1.1 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United States (+135.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Inductor Imports in Ghana

In 2022, approx. 97K units of inductors were imported into Ghana; jumping by 125% on the previous year's figure. In general, imports continue to indicate a resilient expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when imports increased by 159%. As a result, imports reached the peak of 151K units. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, inductor imports skyrocketed to $1.2M in 2022. Overall, imports showed significant growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 170% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $1.4M. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

Inductor Exports in Ghana

In 2022, approx. 17 units of inductors were exported from Ghana; waning by -15% on the previous year's figure. In general, exports recorded a sharp descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 43%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at 187 units in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, inductor exports declined to $1.8K in 2022. Overall, exports continue to indicate a precipitous decline.
