Inductor Price in Angola (CIF) - 2022

The average inductor import price stood at $0.1 per unit in 2022, with an increase of 43% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 an increase of 44% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $0.1 per unit. From 2016 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($0.2 per unit), while the price for China (less than $0.1 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Czech Republic (+527.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

The average inductor export price stood at $0.1 per unit in 2022, picking up by 578% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, continues to indicate a abrupt curtailment. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $0.5 per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the UK ($0.3 per unit), while the average price for exports to Democratic Republic of the Congo (less than $0.1 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United Arab Emirates (+4.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

Inductor Imports in Angola

In 2022, imports of inductors into Angola fell markedly to 10M units, dropping by -22.2% on the previous year's figure. In general, imports faced a dramatic shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 25% against the previous year. Imports peaked at 30M units in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, inductor imports stood at $990K in 2022. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a dramatic descent. Imports peaked at $2.7M in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

Inductor Exports in Angola

In 2022, the amount of inductors exported from Angola fell sharply to 66K units, with a decrease of -65.1% compared with 2021. Over the period under review, exports, however, saw a modest expansion.
