Glass Fibre Voiles Price in Greece (CIF) - 2021
The average glass fibre voiles import price stood at $1,653 per ton in November 2021, with a decrease of -18.4% against the previous month. Overall, the import price showed a pronounced slump. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in December 2020 an increase of 324% m-o-m. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $10,579 per ton. From January 2021 to November 2021, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In November 2021, the country with the highest price was Poland ($1,872 per ton), while the price for Germany stood at $323 per ton.
From November 2020 to November 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (-0.9%).

The average glass fibre voiles export price stood at $1,813 per ton in 2022, increasing by 23% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, faced a abrupt decline. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 an increase of 69%. The export price peaked at $14,654 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Cyprus ($4,000 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands ($1,000 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Cyprus (-17.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
Glass Fibre Voiles Imports in Greece
After three years of growth, purchases abroad of glass fibre voiles decreased by -22.5% to 500 tons in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed significant growth.
