The average glass fibre voiles import price stood at $5,677 per ton in November 2021, stabilizing at the previous month. Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.8%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in December 2020 when the average import price increased by 27% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $6,007 per ton in May 2021; however, from June 2021 to November 2021, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In November 2021, the country with the highest price was the UK ($12,760 per ton), while the price for the Netherlands ($2,404 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2020 to November 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Czech Republic (+6.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average glass fibre voiles export price amounted to $6,825 per ton, reducing by -4% against the previous year. Overall, the export price recorded a pronounced downturn. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when the average export price increased by 7.3%. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $10,775 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Italy ($18,661 per ton), while the average price for exports to France ($2,966 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Norway (+3.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
