The average glass fibre filament import price stood at $1,489 per ton in 2022, falling by -13.1% against the previous year. Overall, the import price saw a noticeable shrinkage. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when the average import price increased by 36% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $2,273 per ton in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
