Glass Fibre Filament Price in Bulgaria (CIF) - 2022

The average glass fibre filament import price stood at $1,598 per ton in 2022, therefore, remained relatively stable against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a deep slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 an increase of 30%. The import price peaked at $2,784 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Italy ($2,513 per ton), while the price for Denmark ($1,289 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+3.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Glass Fibre Filament Price in Bulgaria (FOB) - 2022

In 2022, the average glass fibre filament export price amounted to $1,672 per ton, with a decrease of -21.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price saw a noticeable curtailment. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 an increase of 15%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $2,371 per ton. From 2014 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a lower figure.

As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Turkey.
