Cyclic Hydrocarbons Price in Poland (CIF) - 2023
In July 2023, the average cyclic hydrocarbons import price amounted to $1,131 per ton, shrinking by -3.8% against the previous month. In general, the import price continues to indicate a noticeable descent. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in April 2023 an increase of 5.1% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $1,543 per ton in July 2022; however, from August 2022 to July 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In July 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices from Belgium ($1,524 per ton) and Germany ($1,233 per ton), while the price for the Czech Republic ($1,063 per ton) and the Netherlands ($1,104 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Belgium (-1.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
Cyclic Hydrocarbons Price in Poland (FOB) - 2023
In July 2023, the average cyclic hydrocarbons export price amounted to $911 per ton, falling by -9.9% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price recorded a abrupt shrinkage. The growth pace was the most rapid in January 2023 an increase of 23% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $1,682 per ton in July 2022; however, from August 2022 to July 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Belgium ($8,338 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands ($902 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Hungary (+7.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Cyclic Hydrocarbons Imports in Poland
In 2022, cyclic hydrocarbons imports into Poland declined remarkably to 271K tons, with a decrease of -29.1% against 2021 figures. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a perceptible decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 41% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of 383K tons, and then fell remarkably in the following year.
In value terms, cyclic hydrocarbons imports reduced to $386M in 2022. In general, imports, however, enjoyed a prominent increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 118% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $430M, and then reduced in the following year.

Cyclic Hydrocarbons Exports in Poland
In 2022, after two years of decline, there was significant growth in overseas shipments of cyclic hydrocarbons, when their volume increased by 15% to 181K tons. Overall, exports, however, showed a abrupt downturn.
In value terms, cyclic hydrocarbons exports surged to $200M in 2022. In general, total exports indicated a buoyant increase from 2019 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +5.0% over the last three-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by +82.6% against 2020 indices.
