Crude Soybean Oil Price in Switzerland (CIF) - 2023
The average crude soybean oil import price stood at $1,044 per ton in September 2023, shrinking by -2.6% against the previous month. In general, the import price showed a pronounced descent. The growth pace was the most rapid in January 2023 an increase of 2.1% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $1,844 per ton in September 2022; however, from October 2022 to September 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In September 2023, the countries with the highest prices were Germany ($1,177 per ton) and Austria ($1,137 per ton), while the price for Serbia ($963 per ton) and Italy ($1,015 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Uganda (+0.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

The average crude soybean oil export price stood at $1,501 per ton in 2022, growing by 38% against the previous year.
