In 2022, the average cranes; tower cranes import price amounted to $45,002 per unit, declining by -21.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price showed a noticeable shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 an increase of 96% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $96,703 per unit in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Australia ($58,318 per unit), while the price for the Netherlands ($20,703 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Italy (+7.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

The average cranes; tower cranes export price stood at $33,276 per unit in 2022, rising by 38% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a pronounced decrease. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 an increase of 82%. The export price peaked at $52,046 per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was South Korea ($200,673 per unit), while the average price for exports to Myanmar ($7,772 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Cambodia (+18.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, after three years of growth, there was significant decline in overseas shipments of cranes; tower craneses, when their volume decreased by -12.5% to 21 units. Over the period under review, exports, however, showed a significant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when exports increased by 186%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at 24 units in 2021, and then shrank in the following year.
In value terms, cranes; tower cranes exports skyrocketed to $699K in 2022. Overall, exports, however, recorded a significant increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when exports increased by 389%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $829K. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.
