Cow Peas Price in Germany (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average cow peas import price amounted to $1,473 per ton, waning by -13.6% against the previous year. Overall, the import price recorded a mild downturn. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 an increase of 17% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $1,815 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($3,466 per ton), while the price for the United Arab Emirates ($1,117 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Myanmar (+34.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average cow peas export price amounted to $2,290 per ton, picking up by 4% against the previous year. In general, export price indicated a resilient increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +7.2% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
