Coconut Price in Denmark (CIF) - 2023
In June 2023, the average coconut import price amounted to $2,797 per ton, reducing by -20.8% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in May 2023 an increase of 56% against the previous month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $3,532 per ton, and then fell rapidly in the following month.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Hungary ($14,305 per ton), while the price for the Netherlands ($1,776 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Hungary (+2.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
