Chicken Egg Price in Luxembourg (CIF) - 2023
The average chicken egg import price stood at $1,237 per ton in August 2023, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, saw slight growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in April 2023 an increase of 5.9% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $1,243 per ton in May 2023; afterwards, it flattened through to August 2023.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was Belgium ($1,237 per ton), while the price for Germany ($1,237 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Belgium (+1.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Chicken Egg Price in Luxembourg (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average chicken egg export price amounted to $1,153 per ton, falling by -11.1% against the previous year. Overall, the export price recorded a mild slump.
