In August 2023, the average amplifiers; audio-frequency electric import price amounted to $267 per unit, declining by -21.6% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, posted slight growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in June 2023 an increase of 109% m-o-m. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $505 per unit. From July 2023 to August 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was Mexico ($751 per unit), while the price for Indonesia ($64.8 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Mexico (+6.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average amplifiers; audio-frequency electric export price stood at $277 per unit in August 2023, waning by -15.8% against the previous month. In general, export price indicated notable growth from August 2022 to August 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +2.9% over the last twelve months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on August 2023 figures, amplifiers; audio-frequency electric export price increased by +21.9% against June 2023 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 85% against the previous month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $337 per unit. From May 2023 to August 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Italy ($807 per unit), while the average price for exports to the Czech Republic ($72.5 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to France (+10.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
