Amplifier Price in the Netherlands (FOB) - 2023
The average amplifier export price stood at $50.2 per unit in June 2023, increasing by 45% against the previous month. Over the period under review, export price indicated pronounced growth from June 2022 to June 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +4.4% over the last twelve months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on June 2023 figures, amplifier export price increased by +56.0% against April 2023 indices. As a result, the export price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Belgium ($66.0 per unit), while the average price for exports to Romania ($29.3 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Belgium (+12.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Amplifier Price in the Netherlands (CIF) - 2023
In June 2023, the average amplifier import price amounted to $31.9 per unit, approximately equating the previous month. Over the period from June 2022 to June 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.4%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in December 2022 when the average import price increased by 18% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $33.4 per unit in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to June 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Belgium ($113 per unit), while the price for Indonesia ($11.8 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Belgium (+7.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Amplifier Exports in the Netherlands
In 2022, after three years of growth, there was significant decline in overseas shipments of amplifiers, when their volume decreased by -45.4% to 950K units. Overall, exports, however, posted a buoyant increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 86% against the previous year. The exports peaked at 1.7M units in 2021, and then fell significantly in the following year.
In value terms, amplifier exports declined notably to $109M in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, continue to indicate resilient growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 99%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at $228M in 2021, and then shrank remarkably in the following year.

Amplifier Imports in the Netherlands
In 2022, purchases abroad of amplifiers decreased by -22% to 1.2M units, falling for the second consecutive year after two years of growth. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a significant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 127%. As a result, imports attained the peak of 1.5M units. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, amplifier imports declined sharply to $119M in 2022. In general, total imports indicated a prominent increase from 2019 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +11.5% over the last three-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 88%. Imports peaked at $164M in 2021, and then plummeted in the following year.
