Amine-Function Compounds Price in Thailand (CIF) - 2023
In September 2023, the average amine-function compounds import price amounted to $3,033 per ton, standing approximately at the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a noticeable slump. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in February 2023 an increase of 8.5% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $4,019 per ton in September 2022; however, from October 2022 to September 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Germany ($10,096 per ton), while the price for Saudi Arabia ($1,384 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+3.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
Amine-Function Compounds Price in Thailand (FOB) - 2023
The average amine-function compounds export price stood at $2,723 per ton in September 2023, declining by -1.6% against the previous month. In general, the export price showed a slight slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in December 2022 an increase of 39% m-o-m. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $5,075 per ton. From January 2023 to September 2023, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Australia ($5,592 per ton), while the average price for exports to China ($887 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (+1.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
Amine-Function Compounds Imports in Thailand
Amine-function compounds imports into Thailand skyrocketed to 56K tons in 2022, rising by 16% compared with the previous year. In general, total imports indicated a resilient expansion from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +19.4% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +70.2% against 2019 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 28% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.
In value terms, amine-function compounds imports surged to $211M in 2022. Overall, imports saw a significant increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 50%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.
